Diamondback CNC metallic shield — About Us

Home / About Us

The Diamondback story began in 1989 in a small Florida shop building custom airboats. As our reputation and product lines grew, we invested in CNC milling equipment so we could manufacture critical components in-house and control how every part was made. That commitment to precision, quality, and process control became the foundation for Diamondback CNC Manufacturing, established in 2004.

Today, Diamondback CNC operates from a 19,850 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Cocoa, Florida. Our capabilities include horizontal and vertical CNC milling, multi-spindle and multi-turret turning, Swiss machining, broaching, fiber laser engraving, robotic automation, and dedicated quality inspection. We support projects from early prototypes through full-scale production for aerospace, defense, firearms, industrial, and marine applications.

Diamondback has also grown into a family of six companies: Diamondback Firearms, Diamondback Boatworks, Diamondback Airboats, Diamondback Industrial Finishes, Diamondback CNC, and Southern Grind. More than 250 employees contribute to products made on Florida's Space Coast and distributed around the world.
